The FitWork Tech

In order to user the space, our FitWorkers will download and register to our FitWork app. There they will provide details on their commute patterns such as how to they normally commute from home to their office, and how do they plan to commute to their Local FitWork space. They will also provide home office energy efficiency metrics, such as energy rating size and occupancy of their accommodation. This data will be used to calculate their environmental impact.

Our space has a check-in door access system. FitWorkers can enter by scanning a QR code generated by our FitWork App, or enter their unique FitWork access code. This data is then used to calculate how much emissions they have offset by not commuting to their office and working in our optimised energy efficient shared space, versus their home office.

The data is then analysed and aggregated in handy reports. Employers and employees can set carbon offset goals and monitor their progress.

Reporting

We offer a handy Scope 3 Emissions Reports, alongside easy-to-read attendance statistics. We do this via our FitWork app, used to enter and exit our workspace by generating a QR access code. Once scanned, the code signals our system, which sends commute data to a sophisticated carbon measurement API trusted by hundreds of B2B software platforms such as SalesForce and Cicso. There the carbon footprint is calculated using emission conversion factors issued by the BEIS , DEFRA, DESNZ and NAEI UK government agencies. We also provide an API which can integrate with your offices access system and even third party co-working spaces for a complete emissions overview.
